ABOUT THE FUNDERS
Amanda Eilian is a Founding Partner of Able Partners, a venture capital firm focused on fast-growing companies in the positive living space. With over 70 companies in the portfolio, __able’s investments include Bumble (NASDAQ:BMBL), Daily Harvest, Spring Health, Oura, Maven, Alma, and Compass Pathways (NASDAQ:CMPS). Amanda was previously the co-founder of Videolicious, an enterprise software video creation platform backed by Amazon, and served as its President until it was acquired by Squarespace (NYSE: SQSP). Under Amanda’s leadership, Videolicious grew to over 5 million users in 103 countries, including Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Walmart, SAP, Verizon and GE. Prior to forming Videolicious, Amanda was a founding partner of Capitol Acquisition Corporation, a special purpose acquisition vehicle (SPAC) that completed a $265 million initial public offering and became Two Harbors Investment Corp. (NYSE: TWO). TWO grew to over $4.4 billion of market capitalization (including a spin-off) to become the third largest mortgage REIT in the United States. Amanda began her career in private equity and mergers and acquisitions.
Amanda is a Truman Scholar and received her MBA from Harvard Business School where she was a Baker Scholar, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service with Honors in Economics. Amanda serves on the Board of Directors of the Melanoma Research Alliance and is a member of the Tech:NYC Leadership Council.
Kimmy Scotti is the Founding and Managing Partner of Neon, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in best-in-class entrepreneurs innovating at the intersection of healthcare and consumer to envision a better future and change the world. As an investor, serial entrepreneur, and mother of twin boys, Kimmy’s endeavors are multifaceted.
Most recently, Kimmy has been building and investing as a founding partner at 8VC, a technology and life sciences investment firm where she invested in category defining companies including Blink Health, Maven, Oula, Hill House Home, and Seed.
In 2015, Kimmy co-founded Monthly Gift (dba Dear Kate) with her sister LisaMarie, a femtech company with a period-tracker app and coordinated delivery service that sent a monthly box of tampons, pads and liners. In 2017, Monthly Gift acquired Dear Kate to offer customers a sustainable, non-toxic alternative to tampons - a washable, leak-resistant, stain-resistant underwear made with antibacterial polyester microfiber.
As a lifelong skincare enthusiast with a deep obsession for the beauty market, Kimmy partnered with a board-certified Harvard dermatologist to co-found Fig.1 in 2021. Fig.1 is a science-backed, sustainably-driven skincare line that has grown its footprint from direct-to-consumer to over 3,000 retail, spa and dermatologist locations, along with category expansion into performance body care in 2023.
Nisha Dua is a Managing Partner at BBG Ventures, which she co-founded in 2014. BBGV is an NYC-based, early-stage fund leading investments in companies built by female and diverse founders that are building for the polycultural future of America and solving the needs of consumers, workers and employers. BBGV invests in big categories that require new thinking for a new America, such as Health & Wellbeing; The Future of Work & Education; FinTech; Climate; and solutions for Overlooked Consumers. At BBGV Nisha has invested in over 100 female-led start-ups including Spring Health, Real, Fiveable, KiwiCo, Blueland and The Mom Project.
Nisha previously spent over a decade working in media, tech, strategy and law. She was the General Manager of AOL’s millennial site, Cambio, which she grew 4X in less than a year. She founded BUILT BY GIRLS, a software platform which has connected over 20,000 girls or non-binary talent with professionals in technology. Prior to that Nisha was Chief of Staff for the AOL Brand Group, running strategy, operations and special projects. She cut her teeth as a management consultant for Bain & Company and an M&A lawyer at Australian law firm Blake Dawson.

Drinks will be provided by Oceano Wine's latest non alcoholic product - Oceano Zero, an extension of Oceano Wines, founded by Rachel Martin in 2016. Oceano’s award-winning Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are sourced from Spanish Springs Vineyard, the closest vineyard to the ocean in the San Luis Obispo, Coast AVA, not to mention the Golden State itself.
