Advancing AI in Medical Imaging: Empowering EIC Innovators through Collaboration with clinicians and with Euro-BioImaging ERIC

​Rationale

​Join us for a dynamic half-day event aimed at fostering collaboration between EIC-supported SMEs and leading experts from Euro-BioImaging. This pilot initiative led by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and Euro-BioImaging ERIC, seeks to accelerate the development and clinical adoption of AI-driven innovations in medical imaging.

​Hosted at the Euro-BioImaging Node (MIRC) in Leuven, Belgium, the event will bring together EIC beneficiaries, Euro-BioImaging experts, and clinicians to facilitate the clinical and commercial validation of AI applications. Through targeted matchmaking sessions, SMEs will have the opportunity to engage directly with clinicians, aligning their product development with real-world clinical needs and exploring pathways for validation.

​Participants will also benefit from the advanced imaging infrastructures and extensive expertise available at Euro-BioImaging, tailored to support the growth and validation of innovative medical imaging solutions. As an observer, we are also pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Petra Ritter, the Testing and Experimentation Facility for Health AI and Robotics (TEF-Health) Coordinator; these are infrastructures to test and experiment at scale state-of-the-art AI solutions. This event offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful partnerships, discuss shared challenges, and accelerate the integration of AI into clinical practice across Europe. It showcases the key role that pan-European research infrastructures play in fostering innovation and supporting the growth of cutting-edge healthcare solutions.
