PWN Easy Hike in the Sierra Foothills - Deer Creek Tribute Trail in Nevada City
Are you jonesing for pine forest? Don't have the stamina to ski and you don't want to deal with the gear? Then celebrate International Women's Day by joining me at a gold rush town in the Sierra Foothills. We'll meet at Miner's Foundry in Nevada City for an easy, mostly flat hike through ponderosa pine forest to a suspension bridge over a gushing river. Wear boots because it might be muddy, and bring your camera because I saw a bear there once! We'll go to lunch in Nevada City afterward. If it's raining, we can just go straight to lunch. Spouses, kids, and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. And last but not least, orange and black attire is appreciated.
