PWN Easy Hike in the Sierra Foothills - Deer Creek Tribute Trail in Nevada City

​Are you jonesing for pine forest? Don't have the stamina to ski and you don't want to deal with the gear? Then celebrate International Women's Day by joining me at a gold rush town in the Sierra Foothills. We'll meet at Miner's Foundry in Nevada City for an easy, mostly flat hike through ponderosa pine forest to a suspension bridge over a gushing river. Wear boots because it might be muddy, and bring your camera because I saw a bear there once! We'll go to lunch in Nevada City afterward. If it's raining, we can just go straight to lunch. Spouses, kids, and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. And last but not least, orange and black attire is appreciated.
