​📦 WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?

​​​F*ck the Small Talk is an out-of-the-box social experience where strangers come together for an evening of meaningful, fun, and deep conversation. It’s also just a different & cool way of meeting new people by getting out of your comfort zone and skipping the small talk!

​​​Join us for an evening of games, talks, and connections with friends you haven’t met yet. Join if you get annoyed after being asked what you do, where you are from, and how long you have been in Glasgow every single time you meet someone. If you feel that there are better questions in life then this is the place for you. 🙌

​📓 HOW DOES IT WORK?

​We start with a short & sweet intro talk followed by a few light-hearted group games to warm up. After that, we split you up into small groups and start with the conversation rounds (with 3 people).

​We'll have our own awesome question cards that will guide the flow of the conversation. (You’ll never have to speak in public if you don’t want) You'll be guided by an experienced host who'll make sure everything goes smoothly. 🍭 (introverts, you'll love it too ❤️)

​🕹 HOW TO JOIN?

​Our events are limited to 30 guests to ensure a cozy atmosphere. (more than that is a party!) We prioritize a balance in gender and cultural diversity. Request to join above and we'll give you an answer in less than 48 hours!

​We host our events in awesome bars & parks across the city. The exact location will be revealed once we confirm your spot! 🎟️ You'll be able to check out the neighborhood at the bottom of this page.

​👋 MEET YOUR HOST

​Hey everyone, I’m Nurken! I’m new to Glasgow and already diving into everything this city has to offer. After going to the first pop-up F*ck the Small Talk event in Glasgow, I knew I had to bring it home.

My real passion is all about people—photography, stories, and those memorable connections we make along the way. Travel has been a big part of my life, from days packed with sightseeing to crossing borders to exploring two countries in one day. Deep down, I’m an entrepreneur at heart; most of my past projects have been all about bringing people together. I'm excited to connect and hear your stories!

​‣ Can I come alone?
Of course, in fact, we encourage it!

​‣ Can I be late?
Please don't. We start 15 min after the official start. Late arrivals tend to disrupt the flow of the event.

​‣ Can I bring my pet/llamas?
It's always a yes for us but ask us beforehand, please.

‣ Can I get a refund if I can't make it?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or ticket transfers to another event date if you cannot attend with a notice of less than 4 days notice. However, feel free to pass on your ticket to a friend, provided they also sign up the form :)
