About Event

Small businesses drive our economy—but many don’t trust the programs designed to support them. Despite billions in aid, a trust gap keeps them disconnected—not from ambition, but from belief in the systems meant to help.

Policymakers, funders, and business leaders! On April 10th, join LEEAF in partnership with the Office of Supervisor Hilda Solis, LA County Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), and ELAC at the first Voice to Action: Rebuilding Trust Event of 2025. We will reveal three years of research on this important community gap—and the solutions to fix it.

AGENDA:

8:30am | Registration Opens

9:00am | Opening Remarks by Supervisor Hilda Solis & East LA Community College President Monte E. Perez

9:30am | Voice to Action: Rebuilding Trust Report Presentation

10:00am - 11:00am | Breakout Sessions

🔹 Building Rapport through Program Design – Learn how intentional program design fosters trust, cultural responsiveness, and long-term engagement.
🔹 Defining Value & Accountability through Policy – Explore how funding models and policy decisions can create real impact—not just metrics.

11:30am | Closing Remarks

Be in the room to reimagine how we build relationships, increase transparency, and dismantle systemic barriers.

Trust is the missing link. Let’s rebuild it—together. RSVP to save your seat
