Are you ready to feel more confident, balanced, and energized? Join us for our Health Empowerment Yoga Workshop, a special 75 min event designed just for teen girls like you!
Discover the powerful connection between physical, mental and emotional health through an integrated Yoga class weaving in mindfulness, self-reflection, and breathwork. All with a focus on common complaints related to teen life - like painful periods, digestive issues, posture concerns, as well as stress, anxiety and depression.
Created and taught by local Women’s and pelvic health Physiotherapist and Yoga Teacher, this class aims to:
increase knowledge and awareness about women’s health, the pelvic floor (& core) and how we can build resiliency for years to come
provide ease of common concerns with simple self-care tools, exercises and strategies
show how exercise and movement can provide physical, mental and emotional benefits
connect people in community to remind them they are not alone and there are people who can help
Teens will walk away with a custom pouch of period essentials to keep with them at school or on the go!

Please note that this workshop is aimed at teens. Parents/guardians are welcome to participate with their teens, and we ask that you register as well to secure your own spot. We also suggest wearing comfortable clothing as there will be a movement portion to the workshop. Participants should come equipped with a yoga mat and water bottle.
