Planet Perspectives: A Storytelling Panel on Connection and Kinship
Join us for an evening of reflection, story, and perspective-shifting.
As the climate crisis deepens, so does our need to reconnect: to land, to each other, and to the more-than-human world. Planet Perspectives is not a traditional solutions panel, but a reflective gathering to slow down, soften our gaze, and reweave relationship.
Featuring three acclaimed photographers published in National Geographic, TIME, The New York Times, and Smithsonian among others, the event invites us to see through the eyes of those who have spent their lives listening closely:
📸 Kiliii Yüyan – National Geographic photographer and filmmaker exploring Indigenous lifeways and human–land relationships.
📸 Andrew Burton – Pulitzer Prize finalist photojournalist and filmmaker whose powerful storytelling has helped bring governmental aid to Alaska Native communities.
📸 Annie Marie Musselman – A multi-award-winning fine art photographer whose work has been featured in publications such as The New Yorker. Through intimate portraits of rescued and endangered species, she reveals the soul and emotional depth of the animal world.
Together, we’ll explore three themes:
— Our relationship to land
— Our relationship to people and each-other
— Our relationship to animals and co-species
The evening will include storytelling, audience reflection, and a participatory art wall—The Wall of Planet Perspectives—where you’re invited to leave behind your own note, question, or seed of insight.
The event will be moderated by Neha Dharmaji, whose work sits at the intersection of climate, art, communication, and consciousness.
