More on your host:

Communia is a different kind of social media experience built to improve women's health, instead of harm it, as traditional social media can. To achieve this, we're providing a uniquely safe space away from issues like harassment for the internet's largest demographic while offering a more collaborative "social journaling" style of communication - optimized for meaningful conversation within and across communities. Announced recently at Harvard's Applied Social Innovation Lab, we're now working towards building the first emotionally safe algorithm. Communia's research on women's social media experiences have contributed to positive change in UK law twice, and we've been featured in publications TechCrunch, BBC News, Glamour, & more.
