About Event

Whether you are a brand new creator or a seasoned XR veteran, creating immersive XR experiences in Unity has never been easier!

In this talk we will discuss how to get started creating and designing for XR using Unity. We’ll cover the different XR templates and their use cases, learn how to build on top of Unity’s existing XR Framework, and explore some example content available to creators to help elevate their work and save time.

We’ll also dive into some more advanced XR topics, chat about where XR is going, and discuss how we help define the space. The XR space is constantly evolving and a place where innovation can thrive. Let’s build together!

Bio

Kevin Zakszewski is a software engineer who blends creativity and technology to craft immersive experiences and innovative tools. He has created interactive installations for renowned institutions like the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. At Unity, Kevin is focused on enhancing XR Interaction Toolkit by creating user-friendly samples and streamlining the XR authoring process.
