About Event

Sree Sreenivasan, the former Chief Digital Officer of NYC, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Columbia University, has taught his guide to AI course in 8 countries and 15 cities since 2023.

This workshop is not aimed at techies who are doing AI, but the rest of us, who are having AI done to us. It won't teach people how to create AI, but will help them use AI every day, understand it, the promise and the peril, and the ethical questions facing us all.

In this 3 hour workshop, we'll break down the fundamentals of AI, providing an understanding of this cutting-edge technology and cover the following:

Why it's useful: Discover the real-world applications and benefits that generative AI offers to various industries and sectors.

Why it's scary: We'll address the concerns and ethical considerations surrounding generative AI, shedding light on its potential pitfalls.

Use cases: Explore concrete examples of how generative AI is currently making an impact and shaping the future.

Live demo: Witness generative AI in action with a live demonstration that showcases its capabilities. Advanced prompt writing: Improve your prompt writing skills by looking at what works and what doesn't and some worthy new tips and tricks.

How it applies to our work: Understand how AI aligns with and can potentially enhance our mission and operations — and our industry.

Testimonials:

"What an excellent class... thank you! Generative AI is an unbelievably exciting and terrifying subject. Looking forward to participating in future classes." — Jill Davison, global comms executive.
