The Future of Immersive: A Live Roundtable
Join us for a special Futurespaces session led by Josh Goldblum! Instead of our usual speaker format, Josh will guide us through an engaging presentation and conversation about the future of immersive experiences.
We’ll kick things off with a quick overview of how immersive experiences have evolved over the past few years, from the pre-COVID era to now. We’ll explore the rise of projection-based experiences like the Van Gogh exhibits, the boom of experiential spaces such as the Museum of Ice Cream and Meow Wolf, and the innovation of interactive play centers like Two Bit Circus, CAMP, and Beat the Bomb. We’ll also delve into super high production installations, like the Museum of the Future, SUPERBLUE and teamLab.
Throughout the session, we’ll examine both economic and experiential trends, identify the qualities that make an immersive experience successful, and discuss where these trends are heading.
This won’t just be a presentation; it’s a lively, interactive conversation where we’ll bring in voices from the community and past Futurespaces speakers. We want this to be a dynamic discussion where everyone can share insights, ask questions, and dissect this fascinating topic together.
