Freelancer Away Day - Newcastle
The away day offers you a full day away from client work to dedicate to yourself and your business. It is time to reflect and plan ahead to help you start the new year on the right foot.
On the day we’ll explore three areas:
Reflection — a look back on the past year to review what happened and where you are now.
Intention — turning to the year ahead to create a vision for your business and set your intentions or goals for 2024.
Action — using your intentions to create a plan of action for the first few months of the year.
There will be solo reflective and strategic activities, as well as opportunities to share and talk to fellow freelancers about your experiences, challenges and plans.
You will get a workbook containing all the activities that we’ll work through on the day plus space to capture your own notes.
In one day my vision was set. My goals put in place. And my plans set in motion.

When and where
The away day is taking place at an independent gallery in the Ouseburn area of Newcastle upon Tyne. The venue is 5-minute taxi ride from Newcastle Central Station and is served well be local bus routes. Free parking is also available.
The day will run from 9:30AM to 4:30PM. There will be refreshments available throughout the day and a buffet lunch provided.
Payment options
There are two payment options:
1. Pay in full now, sit back and wait for the day to arrive.
2. Spread the cost across two installments. Pay half now and half up to 2 weeks before the event.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel your ticket up to Monday 6th November and will receive a full refund minus any fees incurred.
After this date you can pass on your booking to someone else (just email to let me know who your replacement is).
