Local Development with cardano-testnet and introduction to Aiken

​A workshop on launching and managing local Cardano testnets. Deploy and interact with Aiken smart contracts in a controlled environment for development and CI. In this workshop, we will cover some pre-requisites for the “CIP-143 Workshop (Programmable Assets and RWAs)" that will take place on August 9th.

About This Workshop
This technical workshop introduces cardano-testnet, the standard tool for creating local Cardano networks. We will demonstrate how to set up environments that behave like the mainnet but give you full control and much shorter epoch times. This is the same tool used for testing in the core cardano-node repository.

​The session will be hands-on. We will not only launch a network but also use it to deploy and interact with a smart contract written in Aiken.
