About the panelists

Angela
Having transitioned from a pet subscription service entrepreneur to VC, Angela was an early pioneer within the startup community and assists Golden Gate Ventures' founders through their professional and personal journeys. Today, she is shaping conversations on mental wellness within the startup ecosystem in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Amanda
Amanda is the Associate Director of Investments at 500 Global. She leads early-stage investment deals, due diligence, strategic partnerships, as well as oversees all aspects of fund management and operations. Amanda has also led the structuring and operationalizing of an early-stage fund, growth initiatives, including two special purpose vehicles (SPV) for companies valued above $1 billion. She continues to support over 270+ companies across stages and sectors in 500 Southeast Asia’s portfolio.

Hsu Ken
Hsu Ken was previously the Chief Product Officer of Workmate, an on-demand blue collar staffing platform in Southeast Asia. In 2014, he was VP of Product at Weave (YCS14). In 2009, he started Decide.com an early machine learning company that predicted the future price of consumer goods. It was acquired by eBay in 2013. Hsu Ken has a BS in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Washington.
