About Event

Feeling like you’re always busy?

Never have time to slow down and think strategically about your business?

We know how you feel.

That’s why we created Founder Summit: Work smarter, not harder as you scale — a virtual summit designed for founders to pause working in the business to start working on the business.

Our speakers will teach you timeless strategies for scaling your business with purpose. To work smarter, not harder. And to share the wisdom about things you don’t know that you don’t know.

Here’s what you’ll learn.

📚 Session #1: Craft your story for investors

Hosted by Eric Bahn (GP at Hustle Fund)

After raising $100 million for Hustle Fund and reviewing thousands of pitches as a VC, Eric knows firsthand how a founder’s story can impact their fundraising efforts.

In this session, we’ll cover:

  • The framework to craft a story that keeps investors engaged

  • Examples of bad pitch decks with real-time feedback to make it 10x better

  • How to make your own pitch deck more engaging for your next investor meeting

😯 Session #2: Prepare for your series A (even if you’re not ready yet)

Hosted by Elizabeth Yin (GP at Hustle Fund)

There are a LOT of things founders can do today to prepare for their Series A… even if they’re not ready to raise yet.

Whether you’re pre-seed, seed stage, or ready to raise your A right now, we’ll cover specific things you can do to set yourself up for success.

Great founders play chess, not checkers. ♛

🙏 Session #3: How to get A-Players to work for your tiny startup

Hosted by David Kline (Co-founder of MGMT Accelerator)

Getting superstar employees to join your early-stage startup is one of the biggest challenges founders face. And retaining them might be even harder.

David has decades of experience recruiting A-players, training managers, and leading high-impact teams.

In this session, we’ll cover:

  • Why company values aren’t some fluffy thing with no quantifiable value… it’s actually a team’s greatest superpower

  • A live teardown of the differences between bad job postings and effective team pages.

  • How to make your company values act like magnets for the right employees (and repel those who aren’t the right fit)

Join us for this virtual summit to get a taste of some of the sessions we’ll dive deeper into at our epic IRL experience Hustlers’ Retreat.

There’s no charge to sign up. All we ask of you is to show up fully.

This means pausing the notifications. Stopping the busy work for just a little bit. And be prepared to learn timeless strategies for scaling your startup.

See you soon on March 30 from 9:30-11am PT.
