Join us in Santa Cruz for “Fostering Flourishing Organizations,” a lively, hands-on session bringing together practical wisdom from Google’s Project Aristotle, the ILO’s Decent Work framework, the latest research on burnout, and Convergence + Bloom's combined 21 years of experience and research working with organizations, in a fun participatory workshop that will energize you for the coming months and hopefully far beyond.
We believe in cycles of growth and that there's rarely a magic moment that can address all problems, but we also believe in epiphanies and magic, and we hope this beautiful day together will give you both.
Who is this for?
No matter what your role is in your current organization, or the organization you're working on bringing to life, this workshop will help you build stronger foundations for joy, community, effectiveness, and impact at work. (You might discover some things that could help you outside of work as well.)
What will we do?
We’ll roll up our sleeves and use the Bloom Learning Loop (reflect → prioritize → co-design → do → reflect) to help you spot what really matters for you and your team (think psychological safety, clarity, meaning, and impact). You’ll get a quick pulse check on where you stand (individually and your team), then jump straight into designing micro-experiments you can launch right away.
What is the impact and outcome?
By the end, you’ll walk out with a draft 30–60–90 day roadmap with specific actions to keep things moving. We’ll also share templates and opportunities for ongoing support so you’re not left hanging after the event, including an optional 1-on-1 review session on zoom 1-2 weeks after this workshop to help unblock any issues that have emerged. Whether you’re building a startup, running a team, or supporting others, this is your chance to make progress without the overwhelm.
Built on science and refined through practice, you'll build on decades of experience and research from from Google's Project Aristotle, ILO Decent Work, diverse flourishing research, Bloom’s own methods, and more.
