About Event

AI and Climate Symposium 4/23-4/24 | BIDMaP & Bakar Climate Labs 

Join us for a symposium exploring the transformative potential of AI to advance climate tech, hosted by Bakar Climate Labs and the Bakar Institute of Digital Materials for the Planet.

Objective: This symposium will highlight the appropriate use of AI to enable new climate technologies, showcasing applications from materials development to energy distribution.

The event will take place on the Wednesday and Thursday of SF Climate Week and will feature a range of speakers and panels focused on the intersections of AI and Climate. 

Part 1 (4/23 afternoon):  AI-Accelerated Scientific Discovery for Materials and Climate Tech

Target Audience: Researchers interested in learning about how AI is accelerating discovery. 

Part 2 (4/24 morning): AI-Enabled Technology for Climate Materials 

Target Audience: Researchers and the startup ecosystem interested in learning about how AI is advancing the translation of research. 

Part 3 (4/24 afternoon): AI-Powered Commercialization of Climate+AI Solutions 

Target Audience: Startup teams interested in learning from founders who have successfully leveraged AI to advance their technologies.
