About Event

What are the weird, wacky, Uncanny Valley, satirical experiences AI and new tech can bring us? Featuring finalist demos from Hack o' Lantern Halloween Hackathon by the AI Engineer Foundation and a pop-up from the Misalignment Museum, and music by DJ Hapki and DJ Shub-Zero; join for interactive art and conversations about the terrible and beautiful possibilities of AI.

Costumes required, or we will force you to wear one ;) Bonus candy to folks wearing an AI-parody/punny outfit!

If you are a tinkerer, artist, or founder and want to build an interactive exhibit or demo, reach out to tammie@pebblebed.com!

ABOUT MISALIGNMENT MUSEUM

The Misalignment Museum 501(c)3 is a place to learn about Artificial Intelligence and reflect on the possibilities of technology through thought-provoking art pieces and events.

ABOUT AI ENGINEER FOUNDATION

The AI Engineer Foundation is a non-profit creating a community of AI engineers focusing on OSS tooling/middleware/standards/protocols that benefits all AI Engineers. Their #1 project right now is agentprocol.ai, which is a spec that defines how to communicate to AI Agents to enable benchmarking and cross-company orchestration. Check them out at aie.foundation

ABOUT PEBBLEBED

Pebblebed is a home for technologists, by technologists. The cast of characters include Luke Byrne, all around tinkerer, full stack dev, and former partner at Tapestry VC; Pamela Vagata, founding engineer at OpenAI, AI lead for Stripe, inventor of FBLearnerFlow, and multimedia artist; Keith Adams, founder of FAIR, former chief architect at Slack, and musician; and Tammie Siew, former Sequoia & GGV-backed healthcare x gaming founder and amateur poet. Some days we are an early-stage venture capital firm, some days we are a community of builders.
