We’re getting out of the city for 2 days.
This isn’t a tour. It’s not a retreat. It’s a laid-back, well-curated trip with a small group of like-minded people.
We’ll explore colorful towns, hike up one of the world’s tallest monoliths, stay in a boutique hotel, and sip our way through two amazing vineyards.
No stress, just fresh air, good wine, and good company.

WEEKEND PLAN
DAY 1 – Tequisquiapan & Sparkling Wine
8:00 AM – Leave from CDMX
We’ll meet up early and head out in a private van. There’ll be bottled water, good music, and a light icebreaker—nothing awkward, just a chance to get to know each other a bit.
11:00 AM – Tequisquiapan stroll
Pastel-colored streets, cheese shops, and that small-town charm. We’ll walk the center, maybe swing by the market or grab a michelada.
1:00 PM – Optional lunch at El Maravillas
One of the local favorites. No pressure to join, but you’ll probably want to.
3:00 PM – Freixenet Winery Tour + Tasting
This is more than just sipping wine—we’ll explore their underground cellars, learn how sparkling wine is made, and taste 3 varieties. They’ll talk through the process and history, and you're always welcome to ask about the business side.
6:00 PM – Arrive in Bernal + Hotel Check-In
We’re staying at Traspatio—a quiet boutique hotel in the center of town. Double rooms, good beds, peaceful vibe.
7:00 PM – Optional Dinner at El Arrayán
Cozy, local, tasty. Come with us or do your own thing—your evening, your pace.
Evening – Free Time
Shop a little, grab a nightcap, or just take in the calm.
DAY 2 – Hike, Chocolate & Reds
8:00 AM – Breakfast at the hotel
Simple and local. Patio breakfast with coffee and good conversation.
9:30 AM – Hike Peña de Bernal
A short but steep climb with big views. One of the tallest monoliths in the world—and you’ll be standing on it.
12:00 PM – Chocolate & Candy Museums
A fun little detour to taste and learn something sweet.
2:00 PM – Donato Winery Tour + Tasting
Stylish, modern vineyard. We’ll walk the grounds, hear about their process, and enjoy 3 thoughtfully selected wines. One of those “I could stay here forever” places.
3:30 PM – Optional lunch at Muro de Piedra
Wrap it up with a relaxed lunch in the vineyard, then...
5:00 PM – Head back to CDMX
We’ll be back between 7:00–8:00 PM, ready for a slow Sunday night or early bedtime.
