“不息” in Chinese means an enduring force that cannot be extinguished — like wild grass growing stubbornly through the cracks after a long, harsh winter. It’s soft, yet resilient.
Is there a moment, a book, a song, a person, or a story that helped you keep going when things felt heavy? Something that reminded you to rise again?
We invite you to join us in creating a collaborative risograph zine exploring the spirit of 不息 — the things that give us strength, courage, and continuity.
🌱 This is part of our ongoing Risograph Collective Zine series, where each session begins with a word prompt to seed our creations. Every edition includes a limited-run RISO-printed poster inspired by the prompt — a keepsake of our shared moment.
🎨 What to Expect
Create your artwork in any medium you like - collage, or illustration- a collage, drawing, or written passage.
Experience layering 3 colors in RISO printing
Collaboratively fold, assemble, and take home a copy of our zine
🗓 Structure
• 20 min – Welcome + introductions
• 60 min – Creative time (draw, write, collage)
• 60 min – RISO demo + printing session
• 40 min – Zine folding + sharing circle
👥 Limited to 8 participants so every person has a page in the final zine

📘 All materials provided. No experience necessary. Come as you are.

在你的人生中，有沒有過一段回憶，一本書，一個電影，一首歌，或者一個人（人們）給你帶來了前行的勇氣？讓你在難過或是受挫折的時候，重拾希望？
我們將藉此工作坊，把帶給我們勇氣的這些事物以圖畫或者文字的方式紀錄下來。
我們將會把每個人的“不息”集成在一本zine上。
合集zine工作坊是一個系列活動。每一次，我們都會帶來一個不同的詞語作為創作的種子。每一期zine都會附送一張契合主題的海報。

学习如何用RISO印刷机复制你的作品
一起装订、折页、交流，并把成品带回家！
