About Event

In this talk, we'll explore the challenges of distributing work across multiple machines, especially when they need to agree on a single source of truth.

We'll explore how consensus protocols address these challenges to maintain consistency and reliability. We'll also take a closer look at Tendermint (now also known as CometBFT) and it's role in building byzantine-fault resistant systems.

There will be hands-on examples, to demonstrate how to build a Go application replicated across a peer to peer network, even in adversarial conditions.

This approach forms the backbone of blockchains systems built with framework like the Cosmos SD.

Antonio Pitasi will be presenting this one. He is a backend software engineer specializing in Go. His past experience includes working at Tendermint and Qredo, where he developed blockchains and infrastructure for decentralized applications.

Antonio is also the cofounder of Warden Protocol, a novel Layer 1 blockchain enabling developers to build AI agents directly on-chain.
