About Event

This week's Community Call will feature a discussion about digital twins - what they are and their potential future role in decision-making, problem solving, and governance.

The session will begin with a short (~10 min) presentation by community member Steve Vitka, who has been working on a whitepaper about this topic, follow by a lively community discussion. Come share your thoughts on this fascinating topic in a casual and informal setting!

Questions for Conversation:

  • What challenges in governance today could digital twins help solve most effectively?

  • How can we ensure that digital twins remain ethical and secure while scaling globally?

  • What opportunities might governance life-simulations unlock for local and global decision-making?

  • How do we balance the need for transparency with privacy concerns in digital twin systems?

  • What role should individuals, governments, and private organizations play in developing and regulating digital twins?

More information on Metagov's Community Calls: Community Calls are a bi-weekly meeting (every other Thursday 12-1pm ET) of any member of the Metagov Community to discuss community initiatives, relevant community topics, and questions or concerns.
