Veg-curious? Learn, empower and taste! (Good Deed Saturday)
Saturday 28th September | 3pm-5:30pm | Apocapoc BCN
Join us for the most original event organised by EA Barcelona this year. Through the lens of effective altruism, we will talk about how to best address the many urgent problems in our current food system. But that’s not all - we’re throwing in a live demonstration on plant-based cooking by 2 professional chefs too! And it’s free entry👌
What you can expect:
Two short presentations covering the most impactful actions you can take to tackle climate change, help animals and improve your own health (hint: We’re not just talking about reducing meat consumption…)
Live demonstrations from 2 professional chefs who will cover:
How to use everyday plant-based proteins
How to enhance the umami flavour in plant-based dishes
Show cooking of some delicious dishes
Tasting!
Plus a totally unexpected surprise ending 😉
Who?
We think that those who are not yet very familiar with effective altruism or plant-based cooking are likely to benefit the most from this event. Having said that, we plan on making this a warm & welcoming environment for anyone who'd like to come along and learn!
