Navigating the dance industry as a freelancer can be tough, especially when you want to build a sustainable dance career. At STUDIO 27°, we empower dancers to master their every move.
OPEN FLOOR VOL.1
The floor belongs to everyone—a space for creativity and expression without limits.
This event embraces the artistry and athleticism of dance, providing an open platform to express diverse cultures, channel creativity, and push the boundaries of movement.
The evening is curated to flow through three dynamic segments, offering opportunities for both spontaneous expression and curated performances.
Dancers of all styles are invited to step into the spotlight, whether freestyling to the DJ's beats or showcasing their original choreography.
It’s a high-energy, collaborative environment where movement is the universal language.
AGENDA
DOORS OPEN (5:30pm → 6:00pm)
CYPHER (6:00pm → 6:45pm)
An open freestyle session where you can step into the circle and express yourself to live DJ-curated tracks.
Participants: Dancers can jump in at any time to showcase their skills. No pressure, no competition—just creativity and collaboration
Atmosphere: High-energy, interactive, and raw, capturing the essence of unfiltered movement
SHOWCASE (7:00pm → 7:45pm)
A platform for emerging talents to present their original choreography to an engaged audience.
Participants: 10 dancers or groups selected through submissions, each bringing their unique voice and style to the stage.
Atmosphere: A curated mix of showcases and storytelling, fostering inspiration and connection.
PERFORMANCES (8:00pm → 8:45pm)
Featuring renowned dancers or collectives who will anchor the evening with their performance and expertise.
Participants: Invited professionals celebrated for their impact on the dance community.
Atmosphere: Inspiring and elevating, a masterclass in performance excellence.
DJ SET (9:00pm → 10:00pm)
A live DJ curating a dynamic mix of tracks - DJ TBA
