​​Meet Zaid Rahman, founder of Flexbase

​Zaid Rahman is the CEO and co-founder of Flex. Flex was founded in 2020 with the goal of solving the pay crunch for SMBs through automating and optimizing payments and back-office functions. Zaid initially targeted contractors with a focus on those working in construction, as Zaid himself had a familial background in the industry.

​In 2021, Zaid raised $2.5 million in pre-seed funding for Flex, with the goal of growing Flex and innovating the solutions offered. Since then, Flex has seen tremendous growth, having provided banking and back-office solutions to over 25,000 businesses.

​Most recently, Flex launched their Flex Credit Card and secured a $20M equity and $100M debt fundraise to build a one-stop-shop financial hub for small and medium businesses.
