Dicoding Hiking: Lembah Tengkorak
Trekking to Skull Valley (Lembah Tengkorak) via the Kina Garden
Known as the “Amazon of Pasundan,” Skull Valley offers an unforgettable trekking experience. Hidden deep within a dense tropical forest, this valley boasts dramatic scenery, including steep cliffs and pristine natural surroundings.
The journey begins at the Kina Garden, following a trekking trail approximately 10 km round trip, consisting of dirt and rocky terrain. The average hiking time is about 2.5–3 hours one way, totaling around 6 hours for the round trip.
At the heart of the valley, you’ll be greeted by the stunning sight of Lake Urugan — a natural lake with crystal-clear turquoise water. The peaceful and refreshing atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax and immerse yourself in nature.

Physically and mentally healthy
Wear comfortable trekking shoes or hiking sandals
Long pants are recommended
Bring a raincoat or umbrella in case of rain
