About Event

Four brand new Thursday lunchtime online workshops for Freelancer Magazine readers to get your 2023 creative and business juices positively flowing.

Kirsty Waite presents… 3 steps to setting yourself up for success
Thursday 2nd February, 1-2pm (GMT)

Kirsty will lead you to an intentional 2023 for your freelance business. You’ll dedicate time to setting your goals and intentions and put a tangible plan in place to achieve your business goals for 2023.

Penny Brazier presents… Write it out loud! Find your writing voice and have fun using it
Thursday 9th February, 1-2pm (GMT)

Penny will teach you how to:

  • Build up your personal brand with content and words that feel like you.

  • Write to make deeper connections with the people you want to reach.

  • Stop giving a shit about what everyone else is doing and find your own groove.

Lyndsay Cambridge presents… How to use content to attract better, higher-paying clients and build a business you love
Thursday 16th February, 1-2pm (GMT)

Learn how to protect yourself from unnecessary stress by attracting better clients - y'know, the kind that don't ghost you, try to tack on extras, or treat you like servants!

In this session, Lyndsay will cover:

  • What is 'repelling' content and how can you use it to attract better clients?

  • How can you use content in your sales process to prevent ghosting?

  • Examples of content you can easily create right now that will help you attract your dream customers.

Amy Nolan presents… I see great things for you
Thursday 23rd February, 1-2pm (GMT)

No-pressure creative doodle fun and reflection on the year ahead. (Like making a vision board but not stressful because your vision isn't limited to the magazines you have lying around the house or finding that furry dried-up Pritt Stick.)

You’ll leave with:

  • A cool piece of artwork you can stick up in your workspace or use on your socials.

  • Your creative juices positively flowing.

Drawing level ability required: stick people and to be able to draw around your own hand.

Workshops are £29 each or book on to all four for a £99 investment for your freelance business.
