Metis Startathonとは、Metis Foundationが主催するアジア各国で開催されるWeb3プロジェクト開発者向けのインキュベーションプログラムです(10/8~募集開始) 。
本プログラムはハッカソンとアクセラレーターのギャップを埋めることを一つの目的にしています。参加者は段階的な開発を進めることで、最大20,000USDのグラントを獲得できるチャンスがあり、賞の獲得有無に関わらず開発進捗に応じた資金提供が約束されています。さらに、Gitcoin QF Roundへの招待やMetis Fest（11月12日@バンコク）でのピッチ機会、Devcon渡航費の補助、本プログラムの運営者であるFracton Venturesからの支援も用意されており、国際的な投資家や業界リーダーにアプローチする絶好の機会です。

Fracton Venturesは、Public Goodsに焦点を当てるEthereum Protocol Studioです。2021年より日本初のWeb3.0 Incubatorとして、Fracton Incubationという名称で年1回、3ヶ月に及ぶプログラムを日本のエコシステムに提供してきました。世界から集めたFracton Networkを駆使して数十名のゲストスピーカー、ゲストメンターなどへの接点の機会を提供する同プログラムでは現在までに合計20のWeb3.0プロジェクトを2年で育成・排出することに成功しています。また、インキュベーションの他にもFracton Hackatonの開催や、2023年と2024年に通算2度開催されたDAO特化カンファレンスDAO TOKYOの運営などを行っています。

Metis Builders Night
This event is Japan’s first developer-focused gathering spotlighting Metis, a fully EVM-compatible Ethereum Layer 2 that implements a decentralized sequencer model. During the event, we will provide an overview of "What is Metis?" and "What is a decentralized sequencer?". Additionally, we will discuss the details of the first-ever incubation program for Japanese developers and offer a consultation session. To top it off, there will be a special builder support session with prominent figures from leading builder communities in Japan, followed by a networking session with delicious catering.
This event is free and open to all blockchain and Web3 developers in Japan, so don’t miss this chance if you're interested!

Metis is an Ethereum Layer 2 solution known for its fully EVM-compatible chain and decentralized sequencer model. By enabling multiple sequencers to cooperate in processing transactions, Metis removes the risk of relying on a single sequencer, enhancing both security and decentralization. About the Metis Incubation Program (aka "Metis Startathon")
Metis Startathon is a Web3 incubation program hosted by Metis Foundation in various Asian countries. Participants have the chance to win up to $20,000 in grants by progressing through their development milestones. Regardless of winning prizes, they are guaranteed funding based on their project progress. The program also offers invitations to the Gitcoin QF Round, the opportunity to pitch at Metis Fest (Nov 12 in Bangkok), travel subsidies to Devcon, and support from Fracton Ventures. Even early-stage ideas are welcome, making this a rare chance for developers to take their projects to the next level.

Fracton Ventures is a Protocol Studio focusing on Ethereum and Public Goods. Since 2021, it has been providing a three-month program annually under the name Fracton Incubation as Japan's first Web3.0 incubator.
