About Event

โ€‹Join the Evidently Community for the next text-based AMA session with Stefan Krawczyk to chat about developing, productionalizing and maintaining ML dataflows.

โ€‹Stefan is the CEO and Co-founder at DAGWorks, an open-core platform for ML dataflows. Before starting his own company, Stefan led the Model Lifecycle team at Stitch Fix, where he focused on building the self-service ML platform for over 100 data scientists (i.e., see blogs on Hamilton, model deployment, and ML pipelines).

โ€‹Stefan is also the co-creator of Hamilton, a general-purpose micro-framework for creating dataflows from python functions.ย

โ€‹Prior to Stitch Fix, Stefan was bridging the gap between engineering and ML at Idibon and Nextdoor and worked on content-based recommendations at LinkedIn. He grew up in New Zealand, graduated Stanford with a MSCS, and speaks Polish.

โ€‹While you can ask Stefan ANYTHING, here are a few topics as an example:

โ€‹๐Ÿ”ฅ The power of ML dataflows
โœ… Building ML platforms
๐Ÿ›  MLOps stack at Stitch Fix
๐Ÿ–ผ Hamilton
๐Ÿš€ Building an open-source startup

โ€‹This is a text-based AMA. We will host the event on our Discord #ask-me-anything channel. Hereโ€™s how it works:

  • โ€‹You post a question on the channel

  • โ€‹Stefan responds

  • โ€‹The author of the best question gets recognition from Evidently

โ€‹You can post your questions in advance or ask them live. Bear in mind that if we have a lot of questions, weโ€™ll prioritize live questions, though. The author of the best question gets recognition from Evidently.ย

โ€‹Register for the AMA session to receive an invite to the calendar and a reminder notification.ย

โ€‹If you are not sure you can join the event live, feel free to sign up anyway: you can ask your question in the registration form and find the answer in Discord after the event.ย
