Tết in Oxford: Home & Horizons
The Vietnamese Society in Oxford (VOX) cordially invites you to "Tết in Oxford: Home & Horizons" at the historic and luxurious Randolph Hotel!
"Tết in Oxford" is VOX's annual Tết celebration bringing together not just Vietnamese students but also alumni, professionals, and international friends interested in Vietnamese culture or business connections. Tết is the largest and most important occasion in all of Vietnam. It is a time for friends and family to reflect on the past year and celebrate to the start of a new one. Vietnamese people have a special ability to bring a sense of warmth everywhere they go, making it feel just like home. Even in a historic and culturally significant city like Oxford (which houses the oldest English-speaking university in the world), Vietnam is never too far away. So don't miss out—reserve your ticket today and celebrate Tết with the Oxford community!
Your ticket includes:
An all-inclusive lunch consisting of traditional Vietnamese food (e.g. Bánh Chưng, Phở, etc.) provided by our catering partner (i.e. Food at the event is FREE)

Agenda
The day will begin with a welcome drinks reception where participants can have a chance to meet each other and network before the main events of the day.
Horizons
The morning session will be a series of inspirational keynote presentations and panel discussions about our main two themes this year:
"Vietnam 2050: The Path to High Income and Net-Zero", a discussion on Vietnamese growth, economics, and the middle-income trap.
"Career Opportunities for Overseas Returnees", a discussion on how the country can reverse its brain drain problem and incentivise overseas Vietnamese to return.
Some of the speakers on these topics include the Vietnamese country directors of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as well as the founder of Overseas Vietnamese and many more! Enjoy dedicated time to hear from and network with our inspiring speakers, industry professionals, and fellow students throughout the day.
Home
The afternoon session will be launched with lunch which is provided by our catering partner with a selection of delicious traditional Vietnamese food typically eaten during Tết (e.g. Bánh Chưng, Phở, etc.). We then move to fun activities including performances from VOX members and friends as well as group activities and games. Come see what amazing talent Oxford has to offer. Bring your friends and be ready to compete to win prizes in our group games!
We hope you will come celebrate the most important occasion in Vietnam with us at our home away from home here in Oxford and indulge in the spirit of Vietnamese hospitality and unity.
