Charlotte Smith holds a BS in Microbiology from the University of Michigan, an MA in Community Health from the City University of New York, a Master of Applied Science in Spatial Analysis from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Ph.D. in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley.
Dr. Smith teaches GIS and Spatial Analysis for Health Equity (sp), Applied GIS for Public Health (su) and Applied GIS for Public Health Practice (sp). Her research focuses on the realization of the human right to water, and spatial analysis for community health projects.
