Sustainable Ventures, in partnership with The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) and with funding from The Hydrogen Innovation Initiative, is delivering a government-supported hydrogen accelerator programme in the North West. Centred on an Innovation Challenge, the programme will bring together innovations in hydrogen technology and established businesses to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships that may lead to potential trials.
From an exciting pool of applicants from across the UK, 10 cutting-edge hydrogen innovators have now been shortlisted to progress to the Innovation Challenge finals. Here, innovators shall receive tailored commercialisation support from SV’s innovation advisory team to accelerate their journey to market and improve investment readiness.
Of the 10 startups taking part, at least two will be chosen to partner with end users on specific hydrogen challenges/projects in the North West. This acceleration process will validate the hydrogen innovation potential in the North West and is expected to attract follow-on investment for future programmes.
