Creating third spaces to belong.
Do you ever miss the days of sipping on boba and snacks while playing board games with your friends for hours on end?
On the final day of Summer Together, golden guide and Yuzu will take over the second floor event space of Blossom Market Hall in San Gabriel to recreate the third spaces we've been looking for.
We'll be providing a good mix of interactive, tabletop and board games to play and socialize with others, while sipping or snacking on food and drink from the food hall downstairs. We've split the event up into two sessions, so everyone gets a chance to play!
Thanks to our in-kind sponsor Sabobatage, we’ll be giving away a free base game to each attendee at check-in (while supplies lasts, one per person). We’ll have two tables running the full game including both expansion packs in addition to plenty of other fun board games!

ABOUT SUMMER TOGETHER
From August 8 to August 10, golden guide and Yuzu will take over a different business in Los Angeles’ San Gabriel Valley, to recreate nostalgic third place experiences and iconic “canon events” for the Asian American community—going on boba dates, taking photo booth photos with friends, board games, snacks and boba, bonding over food—there’s something for everyone!
