Matt Poblocki - General Manager, Australia and New Zealand
Matt brings nearly two decades of fintech, regulatory and commercial strategy experience from senior roles at PayPal, Afterpay and eBay. At PayPal he oversaw legal affairs in Australia and New Zealand before leading international legal and regulatory expansion across 170 markets from Singapore; he then drove Afterpay’s growth across Asia and has since co-founded and advised multiple startups and scale-ups on market entry. Known for his ability to bridge government engagement—with bodies such as APRA, RBA, AUSTRAC and ACCC—and business growth, Matt will guide Binance’s local strategy with an emphasis on regulatory collaboration, robust compliance, user protection and sustainable innovation in one of the world’s most forward-thinking digital asset markets.
Liam O'Doherty - Senior Marketing Specialist at Binance Australia
Liam is an experienced digital marketing professional with almost a decade of experience in SEO, Performance Marketing, Analytics and Strategy. He has held senior roles on both client-side and agency, with a strong background in eCommerce, travel and fintech. He is well known in the Australian crypto scene for providing educational and informative content both online and through in-person engagement.
