About Event

You've been selected to join the League.

In a world filled with challenges, where the time-tested adage “hardware is hard” keeps tech entrepreneurs awake at night, a select group rises to the occasion—The League of Extraordinary Problem Solvers!

The League gathers at the distress call of a TVCOG member startup or business facing a daunting obstacle, whether it be technical, financial, organizational, or some nasty mess across multiple categories.

This elite mentorship group unites creative minds in a mission to help clear a path through the daunting challenges of going from a rough sketch to a sellable product. Whether you're an engineer, scientist, or financial advisor, you can make a difference by sharing your experiences - and at the same time, hone mentorship skills and exchange ideas with other experienced helpers.

No capes required, just a passion for problem solving (unless you want to wear a cape, we won’t stop you). The League awaits—are you ready to answer the call?

Pizza and beverages will be served! (We're still looking for a food sponsor - $250 gets your name in front of the league, and ensures we have fully-fueled minds).

This Month's Distress Call - Conquiro

Loss, theft, and unplanned failures of medical equipment cause nurses to spend 72 minutes per shift searching for equipment and cost hospitals an average of $4,000 per bed per year. Conquiro aims to solve this problem with a series of RFID tags and readers placed throughout a hospital. The tags and readers automatically track the location of equipment on a central server, where software uses AI-powered algorithms to design predictive maintenance schedules and detect anomalies.

CDO Michael Warner will walk you through their MVP development plan - he wants the League to pick it apart. Are the alpha and beta test plans realistic? What should they look out for in a prototyping contractor (questions to ask, how to track progress, what should be in the agreement, etc)? What testing results are of most interest to potential investors?
