About Event

At Homecoming, we believe that home is not just a place but a feeling or experience, a sense of belonging that we can cultivate wherever we go. Join us on November 9th for a transformative afternoon that explores how mindful rituals and the power of our voice can help us invent a home within ourselves and our communities.

Event Overview:

We will begin with a Chinese tea ceremony, a traditional practice of mindfulness and stillness that creates a space of calm and reflection. Through this ritual, you’ll experience the beauty of creating a sense of home through external practices. As you sip the tea and immerse yourself in the present moment, you’ll be invited to reflect on the rituals that bring you comfort, grounding, and a sense of belonging in your day-to-day life.

Following this, Justine Reiss will guide you through a vocal empowerment session, Reclaim Your Magical Voice, where we will explore how our voices are a powerful tool in bringing us home to ourselves. We often forget to use our voices or get caught in fear of speaking up. In this installment of the Homecoming experiences, we will explore how owning your vocal power can reinvigorate connection and belonging.

Through meditation, sharing, journaling, and vocal exercises, you’ll reflect on moments when your voice has helped you feel at home—within yourself or in the community.

Join us for an afternoon of reflection, empowerment, and discovery, and leave with a renewed sense of what home and belonging mean to you.
