Bead the Heat: Necklaces, Bracelets, Earrings 串珠辣妹：项链、手链、耳环工作坊

​Description

​This week, you will fashion your very own necklaces, bracelets, and earrings using a variety of beads, accessories, and techniques! What you will get out of the class:

• ​A basic understanding of different bead sizes, beading needles, threads, tools, and metal accessories, along with their usage.

• ​An overview of different beadwork combinations and effects.

• ​Learn how to design your own beadwork patterns such as bows, waves, and kittens

• ​Practice various stitching techniques, including netting stitch and lace stitch

​We will provide all the tools and materials for class use. You may take all the artwork you’ve produced with you!

​Every “Repairing the Sky” Craft Workshop is composed of lectures on the history of the featured craft, an overview of basic techniques and tools, and guided practicing sessions. You can click on this link to learn more about the full semester class. Classes are beginner-friendly. Themes are interconnected yet self-contained. Students may enroll into one class, one series, or multiple classes/series at a time.

We do serve non-perishable drinks as part of Accent membership’s benefit. You may enjoy them in designated areas. If you have specific dietary needs or medical conditions that require personal food or drinks, please notify the studio in advance so we can make appropriate accommodations.
