Sowmya Ranganathan is the former Controller at OpenAI, and an industry leader in applying software and AI to streamline finance and operational workflows. During her two years at OpenAI, she scaled the Controllership function to support the launch of ChatGPT subscriptions and Enterprise sales, accurately reporting on multi-billion-dollar revenues and supporting a platform of over 500 million weekly active users. Prior to OpenAI, she was the first accounting hire and Controller at Rippling, leading the Accounting team through a period of extraordinary growth from a Series A startup into a decacorn valued at over $10 billion. More recently, she founded Lumera, providing advisory services to help companies build high-performing finance teams by leveraging the power of AI.
Dave Wieseneck is a 15 year finance veteran and advisor across 7+ fast-growing tech startups. His career has rallied around one core purpose: building high-performance teams that scale operations with AI and cutting-edge technology.
