Mark Smalley
Founder & CEO, R1 DOT MY Sdn Bhd (Neuroware)
Mark Smalley has lived in Malaysia for over 25 years, building FinTech applications for more than two decades. He is the founder and CEO of R1 DOT MY Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian tech company established in 2012 that provides solutions in NoSQL and distributed ledger technologies. Its blockchain-focused arm, Neuroware, gained recognition after being selected for Batch 9 of the 500 Startups accelerator in Silicon Valley, where it was named one of VentureBeat’s top 5 startups to watch.
Mark has actively contributed to the local tech scene through meetups and keynote talks, including TEDx Kuching, Islamic Financial News Asia, and IDECS. He’s also been featured on BFM and named in the DNA Digerati 50.
