DevSphere's Notion API Hackathon (Virtual)
🛠️ devsphere's notion api hackathon
build tools. automate workflows. ship real projects, all using the notion api.
this hackathon is to explore what you can create when you treat notion not just as a workspace, but as a backend.
pick any idea. build something useful. submit your work. simple.
the brief
use the notion api to build any application or utility.
it can be internal tooling for the devsphere community or something entirely standalone — your call.
sample project ideas:
dashboard to track tasks or events
member directory with filters and tags
automated content calendar
contribution tracker
or anything else you find useful
as long as it connects with notion and solves a real problem, it works.
hackathon format
type: virtual
team size: solo or teams (up to 4 people)
everyone registers individually via the luma page.
you can form a team of up to 4 members and collaborate.once you're done building, we’ll send a google form where you’ll submit your github repo link and add your team details.
no need to add team info during luma registration — just you.
submissions: github repo link via google form (shared soon)
deadline: 7th april, 11:30pm (monday)
what’s in it for you?
winners get free notion subscriptions for as long as you're part of the devsphere club.
use it to build faster, plan better, and prototype your next big thing. (and yes, that includes notion ai 👀)
you’ll also walk away with:
a practical project on your github
proof that you can go from idea → execution
visibility inside the devsphere ecosystem
need inspiration?
what could a self-updating contributor board look like in notion?
can onboarding for new members be fully automated?
what if events, feedback, and resources lived inside one single, dynamic notion page?
think of the tools devsphere actually needs — then build them.
