About Event

You are invited to attend the second UH ASLI 2021 Cypher hosted by the ASL Society at UH.

Topic: "I Got a Story to Tell..."

Season 2 - Episodes: 1-3

Time: 2:00-3:00p followed by a brief Q & A with the mentors

Do you like stories? Watch and learn as stories from diverse cultures and backgrounds will be shared in ASL. Attend the 2021 UH ASLI Cypher to see our students learn to navigate this domain.

The event will showcase ASLI interns demonstrating their current interpreting skill with the selected topic. Each "episode" will feature 2-3 interns, delivering their interpretation without break ("cypher style"). Each episode will last approximately 10 minutes, followed by a brief break. Mentors will attend each event and provide guidance to the interns and audience on this topic.

For two weeks after this show, the interns will work with seasoned mentors to polish their performance. They will showcase their growth on the FINALE show on April 17th.

Register to attend - you will receive your own unique Zoom link to the event that will work for only YOU!
