The Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Funds climate risk assessment concluded that 96% of their ca 1.5 tr€ holdings are exposed to climate risk. The implication is clear: risk mitigation is no longer sufficient, we need a fundamentally new way of thinking about business and investment. This landscape of increasing complexity requires new approaches to funding, founding and operating business. This is no longer about compliance.

What does ‘beyond compliance’ investment look like?
We’re looking for the doers and the first movers. The side event approaches the exploration through dialogue and mutual discovery. This is part of the Nordic Dialogues: Beyond Series. The first gathering was held in November 2024 in connection to Slush for 50 pioneers from all across Europe. This gathering in Iceland is the first in a pan-nordic series of 5 gatherings to develop a Nordic approach for a new way of investing.
This event aims to gather the Icelandic community and start the dialogue.
