Startup Investing in Northwest Arkansas: Pathways for U of A Alumni & Community Members
Join 412 Angels and Dickson & Main for the first event in a new series focused on making angel and venture investing more accessible to the University of Arkansas community.
We'll explore different ways to get involved in early-stage investing—whether that’s writing individual angel checks, joining a venture fund as a Limited Partner, or finding meaningful ways to support local founders. We’ll also spotlight the growing momentum across Northwest Arkansas and how U of A alumni and community members are helping shape the region’s innovation economy.
Speakers:
Cara Osborne is an entrepreneur and public health expert who previously taught entrepreneurship at the University of Arkansas. She now serves as a Senior Fellow at Heartland Forward.
Toby Teeter is a serial entrepreneur, economic development leader, and angel investor. He currently serves as the Executive Director of The Collaborative, the University of Arkansas' presence in Bentonville.
