If carbon removal is going to scale, industry has to be part of the solution - but it also offers and exciting opportunity.
Integrating carbon removal into different sectors supply chains can unlock more than just emissions reductions, it can open up new revenue streams, improve process efficiency, and deliver more cost effective decarbonisation. We’re already seeing early examples of this in action.
How and when will carbon removal scale with industry is the question we’ll explore at The Sink. We will focus on the following sectors:
Energy
Metals/Mining
Food & Land (including Forestry & Ag)
Transportation (including Aviation and Shipping)
Construction and Infrastructure
This event is focused on the integration of CDR in different sectors, the practical realities of deploying carbon removal technologies within existing supply chains, infrastructure, and markets. Answering this requires open, candid conversation between those building, enabling, and regulating the space. We plan to foster a high-trust environment where entrepreneurs, industrial leaders, investors, and policymakers can come together to explore real-world pathways to scale.
