Cascadia College & UW Bothell Campus Sustainability Tour
Join us for a guided tour of Cascadia College and UW Bothell’s award-winning sustainable campus grounds and the adjacent wetlands, with commentary from facilities staff, faculty, and sustainability officers. We will highlight features like green buildings, stormwater systems, permaculture management, and the restored 58-acre North Creek Wetlands that are on our campus.
This is a BYOL (bring your own lunch) event - to network while we picnic outside and hear from local organizers and non-profits about conservation, restoration and climate action!
Tour will meet at the Food Forest sign between Innovation Hall and CC1 and be from 11am-12, then bring your own lunch for a social/networking picnic in the food forest from 12-1pm. Campus Map: https://www.uwb.edu/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/uw-bothell-campus-map.pdf
We recommend using public transit to come to the event as all parking on campus is paid parking. Free parking nearby is at the Bothell Park and Ride, City Hall Garage, or street parking. Walking from these locations varies from 10-20 min.
By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of PNW Climate Week, receive communications about PNW Climate Week, and acknowledge that photos/videos may be taken for promotional use.
