About Event

Watch a live session of The Feedback Loop on Tuesday, May 20th!

Every week, we invite a batch of early-stage startup founders to sharpen their pitch – in front of a live audience and later released on YouTube. After they deliver their 1 minute pitch, they'll receive 10 minutes of direct, actionable feedback on their pitch and concept from our check-writing investor judges.

As always, hosted by Sherveen Mashayekhi, founder & CEO of Free Agency, angel investor, and venture capital LP.

Want to pitch? Apply here! Important: this is an in-person event and will be recorded — but startups are all about execution, so don't be afraid of getting your idea out into the world!

The week's guest venture investor, joining Sherveen to offer feedback to founders live on stage:

Gary Benerofe is the founder and General Partner of Mu Ventures, a seed-stage VC fund focused on “commerce picks-and-shovels” – the software and fintech railroads powering the future of commerce (for both consumers and their AI agents). They've invested in companies like Alloy Automation, Balance, and Arta.

Gary previously spent a decade running Mediaspa, a ecommerce agency that built for clients like MakerBot, Nespresso, Motorola, and DKNY. Before that, he wan investment banker at Lehman Brothers and has spent 20 years investing in different asset classes. He's an expert in all things ecommerce and efficient use of operating capital, and we're pumped to hear his insights for founders on Tuesday!

The session is unscripted and unfolds in real time – the judges don’t know the founders’ ideas upon their arrival. There are no slides, there is no script, and there is no live funding happening – it’s all about the natural pitch. Because the thing that holds most founders back? Storytelling. It always comes back to storytelling.

Doors open at 6pm ET, and the show will begin at 6:30pm.
