


Uber Design Night SEA
On June 5th, join Uber's Product Design team for our annual Design Night, centered around the theme of "Design in Motion." Join us as we explore the powerful connection between design and human experience, uncovering how intentional choices can influence behavior, cultivate deep engagement, and craft experiences that truly resonate and move people forward.
We're excited to welcome Grace Fan (Head of Design at Taskrabbit) who will be sharing her valuable insights on people, AI, and brand at Taskrabbit. You'll also enjoy quick, inspiring lightning talks from our talented team members, Franklyn Graham, Isabel Klein and Kelly Hou.
The evening will culminate in a dynamic panel discussion exploring the evolving landscape of AI and design, led by Angela Wen and featuring perspectives from Grace Fan and Fabio Sasso (Design Director at Uber). We'll be announcing the complete panel lineup shortly!

Our speakers & panelists
Grace Fan is a design executive who has shaped monetization and marketplace experiences at Taskrabbit, Pinterest, TikTok, and Meta. With deep expertise in strategy and execution, she champions design’s role in driving business growth and meaningful user impact.
Fabio Sasso Director of UX at Uber, leading design for Merchants, Uber for Business (U4B), Uber AI Solutions, and Core Services divisions. Fabio is passionate about building and mentoring high-performing design teams to create innovative digital products that significantly enhance user lives on a global scale.
Franklyn Graham is a behavioral scientist and UX researcher shaping navigation experiences on Uber Maps. With a PhD in psychology focused on assessment and measurement, he's known as Uber's "survey guy," transforming complex data into actionable insights. Before Uber, he led research on storefront experiences and platform accessibility at Xbox.
Isabel Klein is a product designer on Uber’s Ads & Offers team, where she designs consumer-facing affordability experiences. A generalist, her design process blends a variety of methods from research to animation to code. Before Uber, she designed voice-enabled wearable devices at Amazon Alexa.
Kelly Hou is a Senior Product Designer at Uber with experience across consumer and enterprise platforms. She led designs for Uber Eats’ search and AI features and now focuses on Uber Direct, Uber’s white-label delivery solution for businesses. Previously, she designed enterprise cloud applications at Oracle.
