About Event

This day is for you to start, continue or finish that one creative project, idea or initiative that you've been wanting to focus on all year but haven't quite prioritised it. And even better, you get to do it outdoors and share it with a bunch of epic humans who are on the same boat!

Be part of the very first official Atlas Outdoor Club summer day trip to the very special Karloo Pool in the Royal National Park.

At Atlas Outdoor Club we connect impact-driven communities and people with the great outdoors, bringing them close to nature while advancing their projects and initiatives.

Why do it outside? There is nothing like a sunny summer day, a beautiful hike through the bush, a great crew of humans and a magical pool of fresh water to jump in at the end.

What to expect? A guided bush walk, offline creative thinking time, yum food, good company & good quality time spent outdoors.

Located within the Royal National Park, this trip is accessible via Heathcote train station. This is a 5.3-km out-and-back trail, considered a moderately challenging and it takes an average of 1 h 36 min to complete. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

🧠 Offline Creative Thinking Time

Sit back and recharge by reading that book you've been wanting to finish, drawing what you see around you, journaling the special memories, thinking about brilliant ideas, or engaging in any solo activity you like. You will do your own thing without being disturbed. We will provide prompts, ideas and materials to support this activity but please bring your own books or creative supplies if you wish!

🥪 💦 Lunch & Swim

Not much to say here. Enjoy yum food & freshen up with a swim! An Atlas Outdoor Club classic we'll have some Good Ways Deli goods

📣 Atlas Outdoor Club Exhibition

Time to show & tell. Your ideas are great but as soon as you share them with someone else, I can promise you they will be greater. Socialise with friends or strangers. This is the time to meet others, have conversations, discuss your books, share your ideas, or collaborate. Of course, you can keep to yourself if you prefer!
