Visions of Hope: Crafting a Future Beyond Crisis

​Please join Climate Cafe NYC, Remake, and Home Swap Stories at an energy-efficient Passive House condo building in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn from 5pm to 8:30pm as we engage our radical imagination to envision a better, safer world!

​We will begin with a meditation and group discussion on our hope for the future and then create small group collages showcasing our values and goals. We’ll then use our collages to find common themes and draft ideas for the future. In the wake of the fires in California and Trump’s inauguration, gathering in community rooted in justice and compassion is needed now more than ever. We’ll end the event with a yoga wind down by Liv Kesselhaut, bringing our intentions back into our bodies and ready to take on the world.

​Sliding scale tickets will go towards an organization of your choice. We will be raising money for five different organizations at the event: Remake, Mutual Aid LA Network, Medical Aid for Palestinians, the New York Immigration Coalition, and the National Network of Abortion Funds. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

​We will also be collecting the following items for Food Fight BK: winter boots, new warm winter socks, and new underwear.

​Crafting supplies and magazines will be provided by Rosie's Magazines, but feel free to bring magazines if you have them. Masks encouraged!
