Eternal Happiness is thrilled to present Authors' Night - an evening of stories, inspiration, and conversation. This event is a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and the voices behind the books.
Join us for an inspiring evening as we meet talented local authors, explore the journeys behind their work, and dive into the stories that connect us all.
A must-attend event for book lovers, curious readers and aspiring writers alike!
This will be followed by 'Multilingual Open Mic'.

6:00pm - 6:15pm: Grab a snack/drink and your seat
6:15pm - 6:30pm: Land Acknowledgement, Intros of the Co-Founders and Directors.
About the event: Author's name will be picked in a random chit system for presenting their book. Every Author will get 15 min to talk about their book.

Aashisha Chakraborty:
‘Mis(s)adventures of a Salesgirl’ is Aashisha’s debut novel. She has also won a government (India) fellowship for her second book, a historical fiction titled ‘The 13-year-old Queen’. When not scribbling, Aashisha moonlights as a brand strategist, digital marketer, and content professional. Technically she has degrees in engineering and business, but she identifies better as a chaos chaser, dream spinner and a passport-stamped rebel, hammering away at her third novel. Alexander Thorburn:
A.R. Montgomery is the pen name of Alexander Thorburn. He works as a ghost writer in the field of romance, mystery, and thriller. He has written and published over 140 titles in the areas of regency romance, contemporary romance, Scottish romance, thriller, and mystery. He is also a published short story writer and poet, having been published in The Hart House Review, Otherwise Engaged: A Literature and Arts Journal, and tebokkai.com, a poetry website based in Romania. He is active in the poetry scene in Toronto, and also composes music published by Preisler & Partner; Partner of Rüsselsheim, Germany, where he has published three books of piano music and one book of songs. Christie Maragos:
Christie Maragos is a poet and spoken word artist from Toronto. She holds a degree in Creative Writing from York University. Christie frequently writes about romance and love, relationships, spirituality, and personal evolution. Girls Grow Up is her newest poetry collection. Swati Namjoshi:
Swati Namjoshi an Indian multidisciplinary artist and toddler mum, now based in Toronto, making it her new home. The parallels she sees across cultures makes her want to engage with a diverse audience. The human experience is far more shared than it is divisive, and she makes art to contribute to the love rather than the hate. Swati’s educational background includes Fine Arts, Creative Writing, Counselling Psychology, and Art Based Therapy. She has been working with independent authors, schools, and publishing firms since 2015 as an illustrator, book layout designer, writer, editor, translator, research assistant, transliterator and facilitator. She is passionate about bringing to life the words of storytellers and making these stories accessible to a larger audience.
